Job Description: Escrow Assistant/Escrow Processor

Temp to Hire

Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant/Processor to support our escrow operations. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have previous experience working in an escrow office or escrow-related departments and be familiar with the real estate closing process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional communication with clients, agents, lenders, and internal team members.
  • Provide clear and timely status updates throughout the closing process.
  • Review purchase contracts and addenda; open and enter title orders accurately.
  • Request and track required documents including deeds, title orders, lien searches, and powers of attorney.
  • Collect, verify, and enter all transaction data into the closing system.
  • Understand and satisfy title requirements to support smooth closings.
  • Gather and document items such as payoff orders, taxes, utilities, HOA details, and municipal requirements.
  • Schedule closings and maintain the closing calendar for the assigned Escrow Officer.
  • Ensure all documentation and communication meet company and regulatory standards.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to support workflow and assist when needed.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Escrow Officers, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently while contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
  • Work overtime as needed during peak transaction periods.
